20d72e0cd2 reimplement the tree in c++ 
(mostly for testing)

a100d6e508 Start of rewrite 
New things:

- Multiple Python modules (I might rewrite this in C++ or something)
- This uses a tree data structure now, which is much less rickity
- Parsing is much less rickity too
